POETRY
AAYUSHI SUTHAR

In one corner sat my conscience,
In the other stood my fate,
My conscience called out to me,
Asking to fight my fear's weight.
"I'll just wait," I said with pride,
"God's penned my fate, let's see what's inside"
Between the tug of conscience, and fate's design,
I lay right there,undefined
Yet, nothing unfolds, no destiny found,
Anger and frustration my heart surround.
I question God, in frustration's state,
"Why is 'nothing' in my fate?"
I gave you the pen, the power to create,
But in hesitation, you sealed your fate
I gave you freedom, paths to take,
You chose to wait,
Out of fear or losing faith
Whatever it was
But so 'nothing' lies ahead."
